San Diego Center for the Blind (Vista)

Since 1972 The San Diego Center for the Blind has provided its nationally recognized vision rehabilitation services to legally blind and partially sighted adults. The purpose of our program is to increase the abilities of any adult with blindness or vision impairment to reach their own highest level of independence.

Transportation

Transportation via Bus via Bus Lines, Para Transit: San Diego Center for the Blind provides round-trip transportation to clients. Center buses are wheel chair accessible. Breeze routes 334 and 335 for North County. The 334/335 drops off on the west and east side of Oak Drive.

Parking Parking Lot Access: Street parking is available in front of the facility with limited parking available in the front driveway and in the back of the facility.

Qualifications

SDCB professional staff of Clinical Psychologists, Marriage and Family Therapists, Rehabilitation Counselors, Social Workers and Vision Rehabilitation Instructors has been providing vision rehabilitation services to adults in San Diego for over 35 years including working with DOR for over 20 years. Close to half of the staff are vision impaired.
