Desert Best Friends Closet (Palm Desert)

Best Friends Desert Closet is a 501c(3) organization and was founded in 2008. The program provides an Interview Attire Program in which client's get one-on-one image consulting along with three outfits appropriate for a job interview and the workplace. Clients are educated on how to dress professionally and are treated with dignity and respect. The Bridge to Employment program provides focused, personalized coaching on resume and interview skills, which include interview workshops.

Qualifications

Desert Best Friend's Closet has been providing employment based services in the Coachella Valley since 2008. They have served over 2000 clients since the program was founded. The Executive Director and Co-Founder, Connie Golds is a former ASL teacher and Matthew Campos, the Director of Employment Services has over 20 years of experience working with consumers with disabilities and helping them secure employment.
