Westview Services (Long Beach)

Westview has provided employment services for DOR and Regional Center consumers since 1987. Westview has assisted individuals with developmental disabilities, chronic mental illness, learning disabilities and sensory impairments to gain the skills necessary to obtain and maintain employment in the community consistent with their vocational preferences and aptitudes.

Qualifications

Our Employment Services programs currently have a qualified staff of 97 including Vocational Specialists, Employment Specialists and management. The Employment Services Manager has a Bachelor’s degree and 18 months of supervisory/management experience. Vocational Specialists help with initial orientation and job-site training. Job Developers identify and create employment opportunities for consumers.
