Empowertech (Los Angeles)

Empowertech provides computer-skills training and referrals for people with disabilities, including Blind/ Low Vision issues. Training includes hands-on experience with hardware/software and other Assistive Technology devices. Our highly trained staff has expertise in assessments and teaching computer skills and Assistive Technology devices to people with various disabilities.

  • Assistive Technology Assessment - Level 2 (Individual)
  • Assistive Technology Training - Level 3 (1 hour group)
  • Assistive Technology Training - Level 3 (2–4-hour group)
  • Assistive Technology Training - Level 3 (5+ hours group)
  • Assistive Technology Training - Level 3 (Individual)
  • Rehabilitation Technology Assessment/Evaluations - Level 1 (Individual, per hour)

Qualifications

Empowertech has been serving the disability community for over 25 years and has worked with DOR for 15 years. Our qualified staff includes Special Education teachers, certified Assitive Technology Specialists, parents with children with disabilities and trainers that have disabilities
