For over 62 years, Bakersfield Arc (BARC) has provided essential job training, employment, and support services for people with developmental disabilities and their families. BARC offers more than 15 programs of support for adults and seniors, and is the largest Service Provider for adults with developmental disabilities in Kern County.

Qualifications

BARC currently employs more than 178 staff. Our executive management has over 70 years experience (combined) in the rehabilitation industry and has several Masters and Bachelors degrees. BARC provides job-coaching services for 42 clients in individual job placements, and 43 clients in Supported Employment enclaves in the local business community.
