NorCal Services for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (Sacramento)

NorCal is a social service and advocacy organization that is of, by, and for deaf and hard-of-hearing people. NorCal staff, many of whom are deaf, use ASL and know deaf culture. NorCal also serve deaf and hard-of-hearing people who do not use sign language, and hearing family members.

Qualifications

Having served the deaf community in Northeastern California for over 30 years, NorCal has worked with DOR for 20 years. NorCal is governed by an all-deaf Board of Directors and directed by a CEO who is deaf. NorCal provides many other services that complement and supplement services to DOR consumers.
