Blindness Support Services, Inc. (Riverside)

Blindness Support Services, Inc., hereinafter referred to as BSS, was incorporated in May of 1992 to provide innovative approaches to achieving independence for blind and visually impaired residents from the Inland Empire of Southern California. The agency serves DOR Blind Field Services consumers within communities of DOR's Inland Empire District and Southern Los Angeles County. Services are provided in person at their office and in community settings and virtually, as needed.

Qualifications

Blindness Support Services has provided direct services to DOR consumers since 2012. Services include Orientation & Mobility, Travel Training, Braille Instruction, Independent Living Skills Instruction, Rehabilitation Technology, Children Services, Health & Fitness Programs, Peer Support and Adjustment Counseling.
