Project Independence

Since 1977 Project has served people with developmental disabilities. In addition to our independent and supported living, day and behavioral programs, we offer job development and supported employment services, currently serving approximately 200 individuals with developmental disabilities to achieve success and independence through opportunities for employment.

disability Assisitive Technologies: Our services are provided in the community. We make use of web-based supports, and extensively utilize One-Stop centers to assist in completing applications, constructing resumes, applying for employment opportunities, and enhancing job-related skills.

Qualifications

We have served people with disabilities in supported employment since the inception of the program in 1986. We are CARF accredited, and our staff have years of experience putting their diverse skills to work supporting people in achieving their employment goals. We currently have 12 full and part time job coaches, along with area managers to provide training, support, and case management.
