For more than 60 years, Community Center for the Blind has offered vision rehabilitation services to people who are blind and visually impaired. Customized services are designed to maximize independent functioning, promote cognizance of potential and self-worth, and enhance integration into the general mainstream of society.

Qualifications

Experience serving the visually impaired community for more than 60 years, including working with DOR for more than 30 years. Qualified staff includes one nationally certified orientation and mobility specialist, one credentialed teacher of the visually impaired, one certified Braille instructor and two assistive technology instructors.
